Workshop-Immigration Justice, a Climate Fight Too by STMP

Join us for Part I of our first workshop in collaboration with our partners on the STMP JEDI team. Our first session, will walk us through what climate migration means during this political moment. Climate change is a leading driver of global displacement, and pathways to safety and dignity for displaced people are an essential part of the Climate Justice agenda. But the dominant messages climate advocates share about climate displacement often misrepresent its complex nature and move audiences towards authoritarian solutions like border militarization. This webinar is designed to provide climate advocates with a basic understanding of the complex links between climate and migration and the critical intersection of these movements in responding to the current authoritarian moment.
